Marcia Moore-Allen co-manages the Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) Loan Transfer Department. Marcia focuses her time on the securitization closing process and reviews securitization documents related to assignment obligations and document delivery requirements. She serves as McCoy & Orta’s primary point of contact for the mortgage loan sellers and is responsible for the timely transmittal of deal closing deliverables. Marcia also works with CMBS Custodians and Servicers to address document exceptions and assignment issues.
Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Marcia was a Vice President in the Bank of America Global Securitization Trust Services group where she worked for 13 years. As manager of the Document Custody group, her team was responsible for the review and certification of commercial loans in warehouse custody, CMBS and CDO deals. During her tenure, she was also responsible for ensuring compliance with document review requirements and implementation of department policies and procedures for loan review and exception reporting. She also managed client relationships with the industry’s mortgage loan sellers, servicers and closing attorneys.
