Her loans involve commercial properties comprising of single tenants, shopping centers, multi-families, self-storage, office and retail space.  She also has extensive experience representing lenders and investors in a variety of commercial and residential real estate mortgage acquisition and refinancings.

Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Victoria practiced commercial real estate law in New York City for almost 10 years.  She represented clients in real estate transactions and civil litigation, and closed commercial real estate loans for one of the largest CMBS mortgage lenders nationwide and assisted originators in the structuring and negotiation of such loans.  Subsequently, she joined a prominent real estate investment firm as in-house counsel, overseeing its $3 billion asset portfolio comprising of over 150 properties of approximately 11,000 multifamily units, 13 million square feet of commercial office and industrial space, and 5 million square feet of outlet and full-priced retail malls in 22 states, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.  She assisted the company’s general counsel and investment team in all legal aspects and investment initiatives, including negotiating with lenders and third-party investors in debt finance transactions, equity investments and loan restructurings.  Her most notable transactions included a $2.3 billion transfer of an outlet mall portfolio to one of the nation’s leading developer, owner and manager of retail real estate, and a $120 million line of credit restructuring to ensure adequate liquidity for the investment firm.

Since her move from NY to Texas in 2011, Victoria worked for Texas-based law firms, representing national lenders and borrowers in various commercial real estate transactions, and as an assistant general counsel for a national provider of banking, mortgage lending and insurance.
